Heritage Woodworks is a Timber Frame and Historic Restoration company located in Central Iowa. We care about craftsmanship, quality, design and legacy.

Through our heavy timber frame projects, we work with homeowners, architects and builders who want to bring the beauty of timber into their everyday lives. Though it can be part of the structural frame of a home, we also believe that the quality of the joinery and beauty of the timber become part of the home’s aesthetic design. Therefore, we treat each timber truss, rafter, post and beam as if it were a piece of furniture, always working to balance function with design.

In restoration, we work with communities who have a commitment to preserving their past for future generations. We help restore historic buildings using period accurate detail. Of the projects we are privileged to take part in, these are among the most rewarding.
